This is only in: m performance cars are expensive. If you have decided with a regular BMW X3 because the spicy M50 was unreachable, AC Schnitzer now offers dose aggression for the standard “G45”. This otherwise modest four-cylinder diesel model receives an additional spice interest formation of an aftermarket body kit. The reputable German tuner edited his magic to make the X3 20D XDRIVE look more exciting.
The fourth generation of Bayern’s luxury crossing appears noticeably differently from almost every perspective. On the front, the diesel X3 receives a more common face with a strong splinter made of polyurethane. It is not only used for the show, as AC Schnitzer claims that it provides real aerodynamic advantages. The side wings integrated in the front bumper and also made of polyurethane are reminiscent of the front canards, which BMW sells as M -performance parts for selected models. To be honest, we would not only skip them on the X3, but also on all other models.
AC Schnitzer has improved the profile with large side skirts. However, they are only compatible with X3 versions, which are equipped with the optional M sports package. They are ready in matt black and can be combined with the tuner’s oversized logo on the rear doors. In addition, the warehouse bikes were replaced by a custom 22-inch set. While that may sound excess, even BMW offers alloys of this size via its M -Performance parts catalog for the M50.

The chunky roof spoiler is difficult to overlook in the rear. Like the front splitter, it should be a functional aero component that increases the downforce on the rear axle. Interestingly, the exhaust remains hidden under the bumper, just as BMW intends. As a memory, only the X3 M50 shows its exhaust system with a quad setup. In the future, only M models will have M models and complete M-models visible exhaust tips.
Rounding of the external changes are spring -headed springs. Depending on the X3 version, they can bring the front end closer to the road with up to 25 millimeters (one inch), while the rear can be reduced by up to 20 millimeters (0.8 inches).
Changes are minimal inside. AC Schnitzer currently only offers an aluminum footrest for cars with left -handers and a key holder that fits into one of the two cup eggers.
