Just a few weeks ago, Mike Peyton, Vice President of the Mini’s America region, announced the return of the Oxford Edition. It is officially back now and you can have it with two or four doors. The value -oriented assembly backback “F66” and “F65” provide a lot of bang for their money, but they have to hurry. According to the BMW brand, the brand is only limited availability.
If you stick to the second-door model, you pay $ 26,125, including the target and handling fees. If you feel like hack doors, Mini wants $ 27,125. Both are significantly cheaper by $ 4,000 than the entry-level hardtop 2 door and 4 door models. You don’t really sacrifice anything by getting the cheaper version. The car is supplied with all standard delicacies that can be found on the normal entry-level equipment.
It gets better. Mini throws in “exclusive options” without having to pay more. The 2025 Oxford Edition receives delicacies such as the automatic air conditioning of the dual zone and a panorama moon roof. In order to sweeten the business, the cars have 18-inch cycling wheels and sports seats that are completed in fabric/artificial leather in gray/blue. The anthracite headliner and the parking assistant are just as standard, as are LED headlights with cornering lights.
Mini limits the selection of the body color on the sunny side yellow, blue -metallic and nanuq white metallic. If that sounds tempting, you have to create a reimbursement of $ 100 for the Oxford Edition for the Oxford Edition, which will be produced next month.
Mini hopes that his new special version of the two Copper floating rearbacks will rejuvenate sales after a disappointing 2024. Last year, the programs in the United States decreased by 21.5% to 26,299 units. Admittedly, the entire list was updated last year, and there is usually a slowdown between the generations.
There is still no word from Mini about bringing the fully electric second -door Luke (“J01”) to the United States. It is highly unlikely that the EV built in China will come to the United States. In order to make things worse, there are reports that the “J01” will not be gathered despite the promise of the company in Great Britain from 2026. If that is true, America will also miss the subcompact crossover electric aceman (“J05”).
