2026 BMW iX3 Eucalyptus Green: First photos released

Like clockwork, BMW is sticking to its promise to add more customization options to the 2026 iX3. The New Class SUV can now be ordered in Europe with eucalyptus green metallic paint. Images from the German configurator show the new color, which at 960 euros is on par with the other standard colors. Fire Red also joins the color palette, as does Individual Frozen Space Silver for an expensive €2,880.

Coinciding with the introduction of the new paint is another long-promised option: a white steering wheel. It costs 100 euros extra and is, unsurprisingly, only available with a white interior. The combination of the bluish-green exterior with a predominantly white cabin makes this iX3 configuration arguably the most eye-catching that money can buy.

The iX3 50 xDrive configured by us on the German site also includes the optional M Sport package. But that’s not all: We spent our virtual euros on what are probably the most beautiful bikes there are. The 22-inch alloy wheels carry the M branding and the 1054 M designation, but they aren’t cheap. BMW charges 3,700 euros for the set.

While the green paint and the white steering wheel are already available in the basic trim, the wheels are unlocked when you choose the M Sport package. This kit now also includes a vehicle key with M stripes. In addition, iX3s that are ordered with the “Contemporary”, “M” or “Individual” interior designs receive a stainless steel loading sill.

In related news, the iX3 now offers an AC Charging Professional option, enabling AC charging at up to 22kW. More importantly, it adds a Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) feature, effectively turning the electric crossover into a mobile power bank that can power external devices with up to 3.7 kW.

Currently, the 50 xDrive remains the only iX3 variant available, but that will change before the end of the year. A cheaper iX3 40 with a single engine and rear-wheel drive has already been confirmed for Europe. We also have reason to believe that an M Performance version, tentatively called the iX3 M60 xDrive, will arrive later in 2026. An iX3 40 xDrive is likely to follow, ahead of the X3 M “ZA5”, which is due to appear at the end of 2027.
