It was generally reported that the current generation Toyota would most likely have happened without the help of BMW. We have now learned that the improvement continued until the end of the sports car’s life cycle. The last issue of A90 was introduced last November and was also a joint effort between engineers from both car manufacturers, but with a turn.
Sources that are close to the matter have informed us that two other companies were involved in the project, one of which works under the roof of the BMW group. Alpina supposedly contributed to optimizing the axes for the final iteration of the coupé in front of the fifth generation model in the sunset. The engineering company Holzer also contributed to the development of the hardcore special version, which is limited to 300 units. The last Supra is only available in Europe and Japan, whereby the production is evenly divided between the two regions.
We can add another name to the list of companies that are involved in the project. As with the regular Supra, the A90 Final Edition was built by Magna Steyr in Graz, Austria.

There is still a missing piece of the puzzle: Who worked on the BMW B58 engine? We collect this because the car uses the strongest iteration of the turbocharged inline-Six engine. The 3.0-liter unit is rated at 429 HP and 420 LB-FT (570 Nm). These strong starting numbers cannot be found in any BMW model.
We do not keep our breath so that a hotter Z4 corresponds to the final edition of Supra A90, but we hope that future BMWs will have an improved six -cylinder engine. We have already reported the possibility of a next generation of a 3-series series M350 with 417 hp. If our sources are exactly, this would give the M-Performance sedan an increase of 31 hp compared to the current M340i in the USA and an additional 48 hp compared to the European model.
In the meantime, the Z4 and Supra will probably retire next year. Toyota has indicated that the legendary type sign with a next generation will be kept alive, probably without BMWS input. It is highly unlikely that the sporty roadster in Bavaria will result in tracking the G29. The ax is also about to fall on the 8 Series convertible, so the 4 Series convertible with a folding plate cabin. However, the future does not look good for the 4, since a model of the next generation is increasingly unlikely. Nevertheless, an electrical convertible could occur in the upcoming new class -era.
