BMW Details US sales results for Q2 2025: Z4 is on

We are always pleased that one of our preferred BMW models that do well in the sales cards. Fortunately, the Z4 continues to have a strong year in the United States. After sales, 29% rose by 29% compared to the first quarter of 2024 in the first quarter. The second quarter also ended positively. Between April and June, the sporty roadster achieved 547 sales, which rose by 4.2% in the same period of the previous year.

In the first half of the year, BMW US customers delivered 1,067 G29s and marked a significant jump from 15% compared to January to June 2024. While the Z4 drops to a solid first half of 2025, the Real Star is the 2 Series. In the second quarter, demand rose by 79.2% to 5,192 coupés, which increased the total number of the year to 9,740 units and an increase of 51.3% compared to the previous year.

The 91.8% of the X2 looks even more impressive. However, the current generation model was only sold in the USA in March. It was probably not completely available in the second quarter of 2024, so that the comparison is not exactly apples with apples. By June, the not so-baby anymore sports activity coupé doubled its sales more than doubled and rose by 107.8% to 3,029 units. It almost corresponded to the X4 to replace it. BMW has confirmed that the X2 replaces the X4 that does not receive the next generation model. At least not with a combustion engine.

In the meantime, the XM is still below average. The demand for the polarizing SUV 23.8% at just 409 units, which means that deliveries have returned to the slowest broadcasters in the United States in the USA this year, deliveries have decreased by 24.5% to only 814 vehicles. Elsewhere, the 8 -man approaches the end of its life cycle, whereby the M8 coupé has already fallen from the line -up. It is not surprising that the programs went back to 1,017 cars by 27.9% in the second quarter. Overall, the 8 Series fell by 30.2% by 30.2% to 2,007 units.

As shown in the table above, the smaller and more affordable BMWs were the heavy lifting. The X3 to X6 and the IX7 have all released, while the 5 Series fell by 23.6%. On the bright side, the demand for flagship 7 series increased by 23.7%, and the X7 recorded a modest profit of 1.1%. Overall, BMW’s US turnover rose by 0.4% in the second quarter, but thanks to the strong quarters results, it remains 1.6% in the previous year.
