We are only hours away from the big debut of the new BMW IX3, but to be honest, we endeavor to see his limousine equally. However, the reborn i3 will only be unveiled later in 2026. In the meantime, spy shots have to do this. Fortunately, Car Paparazzi delivered the best “Na0” pictures we have seen so far. For the first time, a prototype is equipped with both final headlights and with taillights.
Although the Electric i3 sedan discovered at home in Munich, he strangely had a layout with right. The full production authority up to the front and rear park sensors seems to be wearing the full production authority. As expected, the vertical cooler grill of the IX3 in favor of longitudinal kidney that seems to flow into the headlights.

BMW has already confirmed that only SUVs receive the larger grille. The regular cars will use the design seen here. We have seen both kidney forms on the 2023 Vision New Class and the 2024 Vision New Class X. These concepts have also presented the new light signatures. The front headlights remain closer to the appearance of the concept than the taillights, which is probably the best because the rear lights of the show car were unusually high.
It is difficult to say whether the production drops are as wide as those who have the concept because Tarn distorts the view and makes them appear shorter. On the new class vision, the lights almost expanded the full width of the car and left only a small gap for the BMW Roundel. The impression here is that the production model does the design cleaner. The taillights simply demanded too much attention to the concept.

Like the IX3, the i3 introduces fresh wheel design, including the complicated snowflake-like pattern, which can be seen here. They look striking and unique, if not just staying clean. Elsewhere, BMW continues to have additional camouflage to hide the Hofmeister -Knick, while the Flush door is difficult to overlook. These will play a key role in increasing aerodynamic efficiency and unlock additional miles of range. A better air flow will be more important for the i3 than for the combustion siblings, the “G50” 3 Series.
The gasoline limousine will almost have the same design, which is mainly differentiated by a longer nose to accommodate the already confirmed inline-six-engine. From a distance, however, the two 3 Series sedans will look almost identical. As the BMW design chief Adrian van Hooydonk told us, they will be “hard pressed [from a distance] To recognize which the electrical is and which is the combustion engine. It will be so close. “
Both EV and ICE versions will start in the second half of the next year. The i3 built by Munich is expected to arrive first, followed by the new 3 Series. The latter is set so that the production sites change and possibly move from Munich to Dingolfing.
