When BMW announced the i4 M60 at the beginning of this week, it did not share any pictures of the Electric M Performance Car. Shortly afterwards we found the successor to the i4 M50 in the configurator. However, real pictures are always better than screenshots from a website. The M -Division finally does it right by showing its hot EV.
Since the i4 subjected a life cycle impulse last year, the styling for the M60 remains unchanged. Well, except the new badge in the back. To ensure that the i4 M60 causes a sensation for a sensation on social media, the M -Division shows the car in a striking color with Italian racing sites.
Codename P7K, individual Rosso Corsa Uni pursued its roots in the 1920s with racing cars from Maserati, Lancia, Alfa Romeo and later Ferrari. It creates a powerful contrast to the M carbon outside package and optional 20-inch wheels (868 m) with a two-tone look.
BMW has a good reason to improve the name of the car. The transition from M50 to M60 is reflected in the combined edition of the car dual engines. They now deliver 593 hp or 56 hp more than before. The additional omphe cut 0.2 seconds from the sprint time. It now only takes 3.7 seconds and makes the i4 M60 as quickly as the i7 M70 and a tenth of a second faster than the IX M70.
The “new” i4 M60 has to fill some big shoes when you consider that the old i4 M50 became the best -selling car from BMW M for three years in a row. We expect the updated M -Performance EV to stay for another three years or so. Our sources show that BMW will end the production of the 4 Series Gran CoupĂ© (G26) in June 2028.
The more powerful models M60 and long-distance I4 still have to be announced for the United States. However, the 2026My i4 should debut with the same upgrades in the coming weeks or months.
