The competition between BMW M and Mercedes-AMG has always been violent-but in the first half of 2025 it is BMW M that goes away with a final victory. BMW M GmbH has just achieved its best sales in the first half and achieved almost 105,962 vehicles worldwide by June. This number corresponds to an increase of 6.5% compared to the previous year compared to the same period in 2024 and puts the M department on the right track in order to achieve further annual sales record.

On the right path for a new record year

Despite the profit, AMG now runs BMW M by almost 38,000 vehicles – a gap that may continue to grow if the latest models from BMW achieve complete availability.
