Although it is at the end of the huge list of BMW, the 1 series offers a lot of adaptation. We not only talk about individual surfaces because the option list goes far beyond special colors. Even the M135 still has additional delicacies for those who are ready to dig deeper into their pockets. New pictures from Great Britain show the hot luke with one of the essential available upgrades. The dynamic pack (known as M -Technik Package II in Germany) brings with it both hardware and visual optimizations.
The M135, which is impressed in the fire -red metallic, shows its composite brakes with shiny gray brake packs. The superior stop force comes from 385 mm front slices with four-piston brake calipers and 330 mm rear slices. BMW also fits 19-inch flashes exclusively for the M power model. The 1085 m set with a Y-spoke layout is wrapped in sports tires as standard. However, buyers can put an upgrade on track-oriented rubber such as the Michelin Pilot Sport Cup shown here.

The ultimate 1 series F70 also gains lighter aluminum anti-roll rods for additional rigidness and revised front shock dampers with stronger piston rods. BMW adds additional longitudinal struts here and there while cutting a little weight. Inside, front sports seats in Alcantara and artificial leather are equipped with integrated headrests and illuminated M logos, which means that what they find in the real M models repeat.
However, the 2.0-liter engine from turbochers remains unchanged. The B48 continues to make 296 hp, but outside of Europe, the four -cylinder produces 312 hp in markets with less strict emission regulations. Dyno tests have shown that the four case is predictable and 286 hp delivers on the wheels. With a 12% loss of drive train, it should make around 320 hp on the crank. Nevertheless, it is still far from the days of the M140i with its larger six -cylinder engine.
The M135 is currently the only sporty 1 series that is available, and there is still no word about BMW that revives the 128ti front-wheel drive. It is too early to say whether Bavaria will return to the Volkswagen Golf GTI, since the “F70” has only been around for about a year. We imagine that M has a few aces in their sleeves to interest enthusiasts later for the life cycle of the car. However, do not expect a layout in the rear wheel drive, a six-speed manual or the return of the B58 engine. This ship sailed after the second generation had retired in 2019.
