When it comes to a garage solution with a car, nobody does better than the fast luxury car. It crosses all the boxes by mixing electricity with practical ability and at the same time offers a chic cabin. The driving dynamics may not fit those of a special sports car, but direct acceleration is almost as good. A new video with the three German high-performance cars shows that you can have almost everything with these strong long-term models.
The BMW M5 tour is against its two closest competitors Ant-Das Audi RS6 Avant and Mercedes-AMG E63 S estate. The G99 is by far the latest trio and the only car with an electrified drive train. As expected, Bavaria’s family tractor is also the hardest, and we all know that weight is the enemy of performance. There is always his ugly head, and that’s no exception.
Despite the immediate torque of the M5 with the friendly approval of its electric motor, the lighter RS6 was generally faster from the line. The beautiful Audi car held the lead and forced the BMW to decide with the second every time, while the AMG consistently came third. It is worth noting that the Avant was not even the flagship -GT version that is even faster than the standard -rs6.
The G99 has revenge on the rolling races from 50 miles per hour to the quarter mile and half mile. The weight becomes a lower obstacle as soon as the cars are already moving, and the BMW benefits more from the immediate blow of the electric motor. The final was a brake test of 100 miles per hour, which the Audi won and came to a standstill shortly before the BMW. The AMG remained again.
Similar to the M5 touring, the next generation AMG E63 and RS6 Avant Hybrid could also be. If that happens, you expect these super cars to become even more powerful (and heavier) than ever. It is unlikely that BMW will sit and observe from the sidelines because we would not rule out a hardcore CS version.
