2024 was BMW MS 13TH Including growth year with deliveries of M -Pleben and M models achieved 206,582 vehicles. As you can imagine, the cheaper, not quite MitE-M cars with 139,777 units carried out the heavy lifting, while the remaining 66,805 were real M models. Enthusiasts will be happy to hear that in 2025 there is also a good start.
In the first three months of 2025, the programs for M models rose by 5% to 50,494 vehicles. For reasons of clarity, the number contains both types of M cars. BMW explains that the demand was heated by the new M5 sedan and the M3 line -up. It is great to hear that the M duo “is highly in demand in all regions”. The deliveries of the G90 began towards the end of 2024, so sales in the first quarter of this year are not surprising than the availability increased.

Interestingly, BMW does not mention the M5 tour as a driving factor for M. We attach this because the production of the G99 is higher than planned at the beginning. The original plan was that the limousine took two thirds of the M5 production into account and left the car with the remaining third. However, the output is now evenly divided between the two body styles, although this could change in the future.
As for the rest of the year, we will see at least two special M models. We talk about the M2 CS and the M3 CS Touring. The former was able to break the cover next month in the Concorso d’Elanza Villa d’Este. The latter will probably arrive in the second half of 2025. In accordance with the previous competitive sports models, both should be a one -year affair with production that is limited to less than 2,000 units.
In retrospect for 2024, sales rose 64% of sales, while the M3 touring increased by 57%. Even the Love/Hass XM rose by 16%. Overall, the demand for stomach flourished by 8%with full fat. Since we have mentioned the G87, it will probably get a large update in 2026 when a first XDRIVE derivative is added to the installation. Do not worry because the new automatic taste does not spell the end for the model of the rear-wheel drive, manual-gearbox model.
