As a rule, we associate long-wall models with the Chinese market. BMW also makes and sells LWB versions in India. The latest that has reached the assembly line in the Plant Chennai is the revised 3 series. Similar to the limousine sold in China, the extended sports sedan with a gas engine has the “G28” code name. It is the longest car in its segment and the most spacious for passengers sitting at the back.
The 3 Series LWB is 4819 millimeters long and lasts 106 millimeters (4.17 inches) longer than the “G20” sold worldwide. The wheelbase is stretched to 2961 millimeters (116.5 inches) or 110 millimeters (4.33 inches) more than the standard sedan. The width remains unchanged, while the height over the normal 3 Series, with which we are all familiar, increases slightly. The styling is transmitted over the elongated rear doors.
The Long wheelbase of 2025 BMW 3 Series sold in India is only carried out in 330 Li M Sport Guise. However, a diesel model is also planned. In the meantime, the gas engine is a 2.0-liter unit of turbocharger with 258 hp and 400 Nm (295 LB-FT). It enables a 100 km/h sprint from 0 to 62 miles per hour in 6.2 seconds. The output is passed on to the rear wheels via an eight-speed automatic transmission.
BMW India sells the Langrad 3 Series in the Arctic Race Blue, M Carbon Black, skyscrapers and mineral white. Customers can choose several internal references, including Vernasca leather with Cognac finish. The usual aluminum rhombic anthracite adorns parts of the cabin. An automatic three zone air conditioning system and ambient lighting are standard.
The 330 Li M Sport costs INR 6,260,000 or about 71,500 US dollars to current exchange rates. For your money, BMW India Adaptive LED headlights, aluminum/satin outer cladding and a shiny black rear diffuser are in. There is also the BMW Digital Key Plus, Park Assistant Plus and the driving assistant.
