For most people, the BMW X5 M competition looks aggressive enough directly from the Spartanburg factory. Many tuners have Aftermarket body kits if they want the high-performance SUV with an even more muscular look. LARTE design is one of them. Today the German tuner based in Rating shows its most recent project based on the F95 facelift, which has been around for several years.
The X5 m by LARTE design looks like a muscle SUV on tuner-prescribed steroids and receives a comprehensive body kit. From the front, the hood is made entirely of carbon fiber and avoids the BMW circuit in favor of the badge of the customs business. The bumper was expanded with the kind permission of a splinter that extends to the corners.
The bold look continues with the profile, whereby the LARTE design expanded the fenders and installed various carbon mirror caps. Massive 22-inch wheels with black finish contribute to the medium keeping of the X5 M competition. We also notice the chunkier side skirts and emphasize the angry attitude of the SUV.
The additional spoiler under the rear windshield wiper is difficult to overlook. The tuner also exchanged the original roof spoiler for a much larger piece. A completely redesigned diffuser houses dual strips from vertical brake lights, which are flanked by quad exhaust tips that look like machine guns. Too much? Maybe, but the X5 m is one of these BMW SUVs that tend to modify the owners the most. Larte design knows its target market and this wild X5 m competition is attention-loving people.
The “F95” will probably remain in production for about a year and a half. We hear that the last X5 m will be put together in July 2026. It is unclear whether there will be another M -variant, but the V8 engine remains. Due to strict emission regulations, however, it could be a forbidden fruit in Europe. That is why BMW does not sell the 760i V8 drive on the old continent. In addition, we reportedly hear a full electrical IX5 with an M performance variant as IX M70.
