Here is a better look at the BMW M5 LCI

We cannot remember when a car manufacturer tested an updated version just a few months after the start of the original model. Why the rush? The only logical explanation that comes to mind affects the new class. BMW may want to align existing models earlier than later on the fresh design language of the reborn NK. Even with this strongly camouflaged prototype, you can see that the redesigned frontend lasts after the Vision Neee Class concept. The taillights are also changed, presumably to reproduce the concept of 2023. This prototype had preliminary lights at the front and rear, but it is obvious that important changes will come.

The 2027 BMW M5 is more than just a freshness. The recently spied 5 G60 LCI and its M siblings will switch to Idrive X. A 14.9-inch central touchscreen dominates the dashboard. We do not know whether this test car had the new infotainment system, but there is a production car. Unfortunately, the arrival of the LCI marks the end of the street for the Rotary button.

BMW will combine iDrive X with panoramic view vision that markets jargon for a projection at the base of the windshield. We saw the technology about a year ago in Vision Nee Class X concept. The electric crossover had three fixed sections in front of the driver and six configurable areas on the right. BMW has also developed a new 3D head-up display for new class, which could also be reduced into gas cars.

It is unclear whether there will be changes under the skin. In view of the fact that the new M5 was so often ashamed of fat, weight loss would be great. However, this seems extremely unlikely.
