2026 BMW 5 series engine, gear and power


BMW does not change any changes to the drive lines available in the G60 5 series without a small setting. The 550e XDrive now calculates at 11 kW instead of 7.4 kW. The entry class 530i and 530i XDrive both use a four-cylinder engine that develops 255 hp and 295 pound foot torque. While it is good in the city, the car can be taken care of on the highway on the highway. Our favorite is the 540i XDrive, which instead is based on the well-known B58-inline-Six. With 375 hp and £ 398, torque and little compromise in fuel consumption, it is the pile of goldillocks.
Apart from the 5 Series Tower M variants, the plug-in hybrid 550e XDrive is found. It also relies on the B58 engine, but complements it with an electric motor.
