Jeep adds a limited edition of the Wrangler 4xe plug-in-hybrids, which gives the Sahara grade at the medium level.
The 2025 Jeep Wrangler 4xe Backcountry is Based on the SaharaWhich contains two steps from the base port of the equipment volvel, but not quite as off-road capable as the Wrangler 4xe Rubicon.
Instead of the all-season tires of the Sahara, the hinterland 275/55R20 General Grabber All-Terrains. They are still mounted on 20-inch wheels, but with a unique finish.
The Wrangler 4xe backcountry receives Front and rear steel bush rodsRock Rails, a radiator grille and pull -back pictures for the special pad for the hood, the fender and the tailgate. Like other 4x models, the backcountry is only available in a four-door shape with A Wagen color hardtop.

There are also some comfort and technical functions that are usually optional in the Sahara class, e.g. .
The backcountry edition also gets them Jeep Power Box Auxiliary drive that was available for the first time for the model year 2024. It attracts electricity from the 17-kWh battery of the 4xe with two 120 volts, 15-ampere sockets to supply small devices and other electrical devices.
The Wrangler 4x drive train still consists of a 2.0-liter turbo-4 and a few electric motors that are sent overall 375 PS and 470 LB-FT torque on all four wheels through an 8-speed automatic transmission and a mechanical all-wheel drive system. The 4xe offers an EPA range of 21 miles, but only 20 MPG in hybrid mode.

At 66,185 US dollars (including 1,895 US dollars), the BackCountry edition costs about 7,000 US dollars more than the Wrangler 4x Sahara class on which it is based. This is more than the Wrangler 4xe Rubicon.
The backcountry is not the only special writer for 2025. A Willys ’41 Edition, inspired by Jeeps of World War II, is also only offered with the 4-fold-plug-in hybrid drive train, which is followed in the line-up. Other changes to the 2025 model are light, and in particular the wrangler can still be made with a manual transmission or a V-8 engine.
