Alfa Romeo Giulia SWB Zagato, Buick Electra E5: car news headlines

Legendary Italian coachbuilder Zagato unveiled a one-off coupe based on the Alfa Romeo Giulia sedan platform. Designed to celebrate 100 years of Zagato’s work on Alfa Romeos, the coupe features a bodywork made almost entirely of carbon fiber.

Buick introduced its first vehicle based on General Motors’ Ultium EV platform. The vehicle is the Electra E5 compact crossover and will be sold in China. Ultium-based Buicks will also be coming to the US, with two of them confirmed for 2023.

Hyundai unveiled its redesigned Kona, which is expected to hit dealerships next year as a 2024 model. The second-generation subcompact crossover offers more space and hopefully more power.
