Alfa Romeo Giulia SWB Zagato, Chevy Corvette E-Ray: This week’s top photos

Legendary Italian coachbuilder Zagato unveiled a one-off coupe based on the Alfa Romeo Giulia sedan platform. Designed to celebrate 100 years of Zagato’s work on Alfa Romeos, the coupe features a bodywork made almost entirely of carbon fiber.

Another iconic Italian design house that made the headlines this week was Bertone. Although the company went bankrupt in 2014, it’s back under new management and this week unveiled the first in a line of limited-edition vehicles.

Chevrolet gave a first look at a new COPO Camaro coming for 2023. The drag special comes with three engine options, one of which is Chevy’s new 10.4-liter crate V8 engine, capable of producing 1,004 horsepower without the need for a supercharger or turbos.

Another Chevy in the headlines this week was the 2024 Corvette E-Ray, which was spied without any camouflage gear at all. The car comes with a hybrid powertrain that will make it the first electrified Vette.
