Mercedes-Benz has published a callback for certain versions of the S-Class of the current generation due to a potential brake fluid leak, which could lead to longer stop distances and thus the risk of a crash.
The recall influences certain S-Class models from the 2021-2023 model yearsincluding those from the Maybach Ultra-Luxury Division. The affected models include the S 500, S 580, S 580E, Maybach S 580 and Maybach S 680.

According to the recall notice published by the NHTSA on February 24th (on February 24th (Calling campaign number 25V116000) The front brake hoses can break brake fluid and leak fluids, especially in vehicles that are operated in hot and damp climatic zones.
