New Z to headline Nissan’s Tokyo Auto Salon 2023 program

Nissan will use the Tokyo Auto Salon 2023 in January to present a diverse vehicle collection, with the new Z sports car being among the highlights.

One of the Zs will be outfitted with a collection of official accessories that Nissan unveiled in prototype form at this year’s motor show. Unique elements include a new front fascia, a decklid spoiler and graphics bearing the name “Fairlady”, the name the Z bears in Japan.

Nissan’s stage will also be shared by an X-Trail outfitted with parts from Nissan’s Autech accessories division. Sold as the Rogue in the US, the X-Trail was decked out for the show with a body kit, 20-inch wheels and a white leather interior.

The new electric crossover Ariya will also be on display, albeit not in a modified form. The version on display will be an Ariya from Nissan’s new E-Share Mobil carsharing fleet.

Most other vehicles are Nissans sold outside the US. Vehicles will include custom Serena minivans, a Cube restomod, and a Nismo-enhanced Note Aura.

The Tokyo Auto Salon is scheduled for January 13-15.
