When I ordered the gearbox, the kick panels installed, window crank and battery ownedown were also ordered to end the interior and the upcoming new battery.
Next, the exhaust system should be completed on the agenda and bought a 2-inch exhaust pipe kit and flanges. The excerpt shown was cut and newly welded to increase it a few centimeters.
The revised cutouts gather.
I had to remove the silencers delivered by car because they were simply too long to fit into the room in front of the rear axle. A couple of 18 -inch -tubo silencers took their place, which fit into the room below the back of the back seat.
The 40 -inch pipes were welded in addition to the drive shaft on the spot.
To ensure that the excerpts were not hit on the floor, they were screwed on the spot.
Next, the silencers were installed on the spot, new supports were made and the flanges were welded.
The adjustment of the rear tubes was carried out using a combination of the 90, 45 and straight tubes from the kit. The 45 bends had to be bent a little more with my pipe binder.
The tail tubes were inserted into the pipe truck and welded, ground and painted. The new stainless steel tips were provided in the notch on the rear roll pan.
Tail lines installed, all seals used and the screws tightened.
The support clips were welded on the spot that completed the new exhaust.
The tips have to be adjusted a little, but the new system looks like Purty Good.
Next, all liquids are checked, rounded off and ensure that the breaks work, then I can move the car from the hoist.
