Last post I worked on the brakes and installed the new Power Unit & Disc Brems. A new distribution \ Proportioning block for the slice front (instead of disc \ drum) had to be ordered.
As soon as it arrived, a new assembly brain was produced and the block was installed.
New brake lines were made to tie the front and rear brakes onto the block and complete the master brake cylinder. The brake system was flooded with a hand vacuum pump. There were a few leaks that were defined and had to rebel the system.
The new trunk lid was preserved a few months ago, which replaced the California Special Deck Lid, and I decided to see how it fit.
I used the overhead lies to keep it in place while it was screwed on.
The new rear fender extensions were delivered, prepared and installed.
Tearnight housings were rusted on the ground and the seals in poor form. After pearls could blow up the housing, they were painted, ordered new seals, all chrome -plated, then the back of the car was put together with the new tail pan, which was delivered by car.
When I got the car, the engine was a full long block. After the inspection, I feared that the rear inlet valves were damaged because I could see a lot of rust through the heads of the heads, so I took the engine apart to ensure that it was not a cracked head. You can see that the valve seat looks good so that the rust came out of water that came in through the entrance harbor.
The heads and valves were cleaned, then the valves were stored by hand with valve seat connection, which were checked for cracks and then assembled.
The block was examined with almost without wear in the cylinders. The main and rod camps were also checked and then set on fire. The roller chamber shows a little wear and the timing chain.
Looks like I have the shakes that take this picture.
I decided to put the engine back together and ordered new seals. I think I will paint the Motor Old Ford Blue with black accessories.
The header delivered by car were black. When they tried to avoid rust, they were painted with HI heat silver color.
After the engine seals have come here, the engine and the gearbox can be put together and then installed. The project is slowly progressing, but I make progress.
