I didn’t like the attitude of the car, so I set the front coil over and did not lower the front 3-inch posture. I will get a better picture. I put the car on ice skates and moved it in the car hoofs, had to use a cable-in-langer, because I didn’t have enough Oomp in me to push it.
Next, the exhaust system increased by car to the lift. Below you will find the parts I had to work with, Mufflers (2), exhaust gas section system, which is left of another earlier project and 6 adapters bought by Amazon. The silencers delivered by car have 3 “inlet & outlet, why the previous owner bought it is a mystery, so they needed 3 ‘to 2’ adapter. The header flange needed 2 1/2 ‘to 2’ adapter.
The various components were mocked and disappointed under the car and then welded on the pipe truck.
The same procedure for the other side was followed with a full side.
The exhaust is lower than I want, but the header set the height. The assembly was tightened so that clothes hangers could be made.
The excerpts are operated with a 12-volt engine that opens and closes the butterfly that you can see in the downhill pipe. I have to order the tail tube components if we can afford to complete the exhaust system.
The new straps were then installed, then the cooler to determine that the 92-water pump did not match the 68 cooler.
Below are the 68-water pump (left) with a back hose on the passenger side. The 92-water pump (right) has the reverse hose on the driver’s side. The cooler is the passenger side back.
These pictures are a little blurred, but you can see the end result of the water pump fiasco. After I switched off the 92 for the 68 water pumps and the coolant was leaked into the 68 pump and ordered a new pump and took the front of the engine A part and was put together for the third time.
The padded dashboard has been set up again and the wiring harness was excited with marked and ready wire for the new measuring devices that arrive this week.
A switching board was made for the radio clot for the exhaust open/close switches, since the electronic control delivered with them did not work so that I did my own.
The dashboard is almost complete, as soon as the measuring devices are here, I can end the wire connections and start testing things. Still have fun and remain busy with the setbacks
