Aston Martin gives his strong DBX SUV a thrust. While the S -Badge indicates a slight increase to 727 hp and 900 Nm, the real highlights are in new technical functions and revised infotainment system.
The DBX was a success story for Aston Martin and remains the only model in the line -up that is currently available with all -wheel drive. The revised DBX S has the four-liter V8 of turbocharged from Mercedes-AMG and now delivers a modest increase to 535 kW / 727 hp and 900 Nm torque. Despite a weight loss of almost 50 kilograms, the performance figures remain largely unchanged. The British SUV sprints from 0 to 100 km/h in a spectacular 3.3 seconds with a top speed of 310 km/h – still very impressive.

Little has changed visually, with only subtle improvements at the front and back. An optional carbon roof helps to hand over 18 kilograms at a crucial point with a high proportion. Additional savings result from the use of magnesium wheels-a premiere at every SUV. Customers can choose between standard 23-inch alloys or the new magnesium rims, which reduce the unexpected mass by remarkable 19 kilograms. A revised steering ratio aims to convey a better feeling of street and reduces the turning circle to an even substantial twelve meter. The actively coordinated chassis of the DBX with an adaptive air frame and anti-roll control limit, which is limited to just 1.5 degrees, is also improved. Sharter than ever: the Carbon Ceramico brakes, which bring the two-ton SUV safely to standstill by high speeds.
“In the past two years, Aston Martin has launched a whole range of next generation sports cars and a new DBX. Everyone has a new, completely tailor-made infotainment system that has developed in his own way,” says Adrian Hallmark, CEO of Aston Martin. “The introduction of the DBX S not only strengthens our commitment to building the most exciting, most rewarding and most beautiful cars, but also clearly expresses our ambition – not only for the DBX, but also for the Aston Martin brand.”
