Only a few Ferraris are reminiscent of as much nostalgia as the F355, a sports car icon of the 90s, which was worshiped because of its timeless design and exciting V8 soundtrack. Now the British company Evoluto, led by the former Jaguar design manager Ian Callum, has redesigned the legend. This modern interpretation describes and improves the performance, handling and reliability without impairing its classic mid -motor character. With only 55 planned units, this is a rare opportunity to have a newly defined Ferrari icon.
The original Ferrari F355 was a groundbreaking model that mixed aerodynamics inspired by the breed, aluminum construction and a high -turned V8. While over 11,000 units were built and it was one of Ferrari’s best -selling models in his era, it remains very much in demand. Evoluto retains the essence of the original, refinent instead of revising his design. A wider attitude, a redesigned air absorption and modern LED headlights improve aerodynamics and visibility, while slimmer mirrors improve air flow.
At the center of the transformation is a naturally sucked 3.5 liter V8, which is revised with over 200 new or modified components. A modern ECU, an advanced coil ignition system and CNC-athus cylinder heads with larger intake valves increase performance and efficiency. A light titanium exhaust sharpens the gas reaction and improves the characteristic Ferrari soundtrack. The result? An increase from 381 hp to 420 hp, with a speed limit increased to 8,500 rpm.
Weight reduction plays a key role in performance gains. Carbon fiber components improve the structural rigidity by 23%and at the same time reduce the total weight to 1,250 kg – a saving of 100 kg. Brembo brakes offer a precise stop force with an optional carbon ceramic setup for track focus buyers. The 19-inch-forged wheels-235 mm front and 305 mm rear worries for an optimal handle, which improves the stability at high speeds.

Evoluto also respects the true Ferrari driver’s experience by maintaining the closed manual transmission. The classic open gate shifter delivers a mechanical and fulfilling “click” with any gearbox change and preserves the raw connection between the driver and machine. The owners can fully adjust their interior with modern electronics and improved cable maintenance.
Evoluto’s 355 is a fusion of the inheritance and the modern engineering, which remains true to the soul of Ferrari F355 and at the same time increases its performance, precision and exclusivity. With only 55 available units, the pricing does not remain known-but you can expect a six-digit sum for this masterpiece with high-performance restomod.
