Audi has expanded the Etron GT installation with a more accessible model. But with electrical all -wheel drive, high comfort and 370 kW (503 hp) it would hardly be, which most are considering for the entry level. A reaction -fast drive train and a well -coordinated chassis will now match a significantly improved area.
The Etron GT may not be new, but still looks courageous, sporty and modern. It attracts attention. Quite why the facelift remains a closely guarded secret in Böllinger Höfe, where the four -door electrical GT is built. A refreshing design would have been just as welcome, just like his siblings, the Porsche Taycan, which also recorded minimal cosmetic updates.
In contrast to Porsche, Audi has adhered to his core formula. The updated Etron GT receives a larger 105 kWh battery, but no rear-wheel drive version that can unlock another area. Instead, Audi remains in Boost mode of his quattro identity with all-wheel drive and a lot of strength to 430 kW and 625 Nm.
Performance figures are unchanged. Zero to 62 miles per hour only lasts 4.0 seconds, with the top speed limited to 245 km/h (152 miles per hour). It is fast enough for the vast majority of drivers. What is more important is the increased official range of up to 575 km and the ability of the battery to quickly load at 320 kW. The consumption is rated at 17.8 to 19.3 kWh/100 km, although this can only be reached with a very light right foot. The cargo is still limited to 11 kW on a domestic wall box, but from 10 to 80 percent only lasts 18 minutes for a high -speed charger. This is useful, especially since the display often shows 460 km of real reach. The starting capacity is unobtrusive 405 liters, but the 77-liter front compartment adds a certain flexibility.

The Etron GT is still a pleasure on the street. Councilor and damping feel well assessed, especially in view of the low center of gravity. The steering feedback is precise and of course. However, the braking remains somewhat inconsistent, especially during the transition from the regenerative to the mechanical brake-a memory of the 2.4-ton weight of the 2.4 ton broth. With quick corners, it tends to press far, although the regeneration that can be adjusted by driver agreement contributes to alleviating this. A third, stronger rain setting would be welcome.
The cabin is smart and comfortable, but not particularly spacious. The disappointment lies in the standard specification. For a basic price of € 108,900, it seems stingy to offer synthetic leather seats with a limited setting, without heating the back seat and without a head-up display.

White outer color and 19-inch wheels also feel too easy on this level. The new steering wheel feels good, but does not bring any real advantage, and its touch -sensitive controls are less intuitive than before.
Options that should be standard and a 360-degree camera (€ 680), matrix LED or laser light (€ 4,280), head-up display (€ 1,400), driver assistance systems (from € 1,300), rear wheel control (€ 1,900), or comfort seats can be quickly transmitted via the price. Nevertheless, only a few buyers will feel forced to switch to the S or RS versions. With 625 Nm torque and a strong mid-range performance, this basic etron-GT is quick. Big-ticket upgrades such as Active Suspension with Pitch and Roll Control (€ 7,000) or brakes (€ 3,400) coated with carbide can be easily skipped. It is quick, capable and pleasant as it is.
