The unveiling of BMWS first reborn New class model is around the corner, and if we approach the official debut, new details about the 2026 BMW IX3 (NA5) will appear. While BMW has already shared insights into the next generation’s battery and electric motor technology, the latest update (from unofficial sources) focuses on color options and shows a mixture of familiar and fresh colors.
New and old colors

According to the well -known BMW insider ynguldynThe BMW IX3 NA5 of the second generation will start with a diverse color palette with classic BMW colors and new additions. Some returning favorites are alpine white and black sapphire, a staple in the BMW line -up. Brooklyn Gray remains a trendy, modern shadow, while Feuer/Vegas Red gives a brave, sporty note. The new additions to the range include polarized gray, a fresh version of BMWS typical gray tones, ocean case blue and smokey green, a color that could be similar to what the mini country man offers. While these colors are plausible, the availability of BMW single colors remains uncertain. From our own sources we hear that frozen colors such as mineral white, frozen silver and frozen sea wave blue are also on the table, but at a later date.
It is therefore unclear whether the BMW BURCEN work, in which the IX3 is manufactured, will be equipped to manage tailor -made painting from the start. However, BMW extends its color offers after the start, which means that more options can be available later.
6 new class models by 2028

In addition to the aesthetics, the 2026 BMW IX3 for the six new electric vehicles that will be launched by 2028 will go before the way. The SUV measures approximately 4,780 mm length, 1,895 mm width and 1,635 mm high, with a wheelchair of 2,895 mm. The load capacity is rumored that you start with the back seats at 520 liters and extend to 1,750 liters when it is folded down, which makes it a spacious option in the Premium Electric SUV segment.

A big highlight of the next generation IX3 is the gene6 battery technology from BMW. This upgrade replaces the current prismatic cells with new round cells, the energy density improves by 20 percent, the charging speeds by 30 percent and an area of 30 percent. As a result, the IX3 will reach a WLTP estimated area between 750 and 900 km depending on the selection of the variant and tires. These numbers represent a significant leap from the current generation IX3, which makes it one of the longest longest electric vehicles in the BMW.
BMW IX3 M60 – The Top Model

The IX3 50 XDRIVE will be the first model that comes onto the market in Europe, followed by additional variants, including the IX3 40, IX3 40 XDRIVE and the high-performance IX3 M60 XDRIVE. Although BMW has not published official performance figures, speculation suggests that the M60 XDRIVE model could deliver at least 600 hp, which it positions as a high-performance candidate on the Premium Electric SUV market.
BMW began in November 2024 with the production of pre -production models of the IX3. Series production for European customers will begin by the end of 2025. The markets outside of Europe, including North America and Asia, have to wait until March 2026 until production begins.
