Every year, thousands of enthusiasts, collectors and auto industry climb a small barrier island on the Atlantic coast of Florida. And in 2025 the Amelia Concours described as “Amelia Island” for 30 years. This year the BMW 3 Series also marked 50 years, so BMW has just as much reason to celebrate.
The new BMW IX gives its US debut
BMW has debuted a number of vehicles on Amelia Island, and this year does not differ this year. The revised 2026 BMW IX provides its US debut as an IX M70, which is advertised frozen deep gray metallic color, red brake caliper and 22-inch wheels
As a reminder that the 2026 BMW IX sees significant changes for the new model year. A new front fascia -Don -like headlight and cooler grill designs, and the model finally sees a real M -Sport package. New m -alloying wheel constructions and increased performance from the electrical drive train of the SUV also make it more sporty than before. The United States also receives a third level, the IX XDrive45, which offers a lower entrance fee and organizes the model with its offers in the global markets.
50 years of the BMW 3 Series on Amelia Island
However, the 2026 BMW IX was not the only car that BMW brought with it. In the five decades of the BMW 3 Series, BMW brought a little for everyone. This means a BMW 3 Series from every generation, from E21 to a brand new LCI G20 from 2025. Perhaps faithful to the brand, many of the examples are hardly ordinary examples, but rather adult racing cars.
They will coincide legendary cars such as No. 56 (formerly No. 55) E92 M3 GT refugees, which were brought to a crash in 2012 in 2012. E36 M3 LTW sits compared to a positive pedestrian. The same applies to the M Sport F31 Wagon BMW, which is sized. The V8 provider E46 BMW Motorsport M3 GTR and really iconic Warsteiner liver E30 M3 round off an extraordinary collection of 3 cars. BMW also had a group of 15 3 owners immersed in their own cars to continue celebrating the fiftieth cars.
Amelia Island and BMW’s presence
BMW and Amelia Island celebrate different anniversaries at the same time, but the two are more intertwined than they might think. In 2023, the LCI X5 M and X6 M competition models saw the public for the first time. BMW MS 50TH The anniversary occurred in 2022, and Amelia Island was hosting for one year of the celebration as well as BMW’s debut of the updated models M8 and 8 series. Even in 2015, BMW celebrated with Amelia Island – in this case it was 40TH Anniversary of the first US racing victory of the Marque and the 20s of the Concourse 20TH Anniversary.
During the decades, Amelia Island has given more than its share of love from the brand and excellent owner. 2025 is no different. With damage to support events such as an auction and any number of culinary experiences, Amelia Island is still a target event for BMW heads.
