Whenever BMW is launching a new model, it usually selects a single color for the press recordings. Munich selected Ocean Attorney Blue for the second generation IX3. Since the luxury crossover a few days ago we have also seen the EV in Space Silver. We have now taken a closer look at the German configurator to highlight all the surfaces available at the start.
First, the “Na5” IX3 is offered in six colors: a university (alpine white) and five metallic surfaces: Space Silver, M Brooklyn Gray, Ocean Wave Blue, Sapphire Black and Polarized Grey. Everyone was paired here with various cycling designs to present the adaptation depth from day one. It is worth noting that BMW has already announced that three more metallic interfaces will arrive next spring. We can confirm that one of them in the USA will be fire -proof as Vegas Red. It is not yet listed in the configurator, but it is definitely on the road.
All IX3 versions shown in screenshots from the German configurator have the Tesla model, which competes with the optional M Sport package Pro. This package adds a selection of black outdoor accents with a high gloss, including the side mirror caps and the rear diffuser. The kidney grid inspired by retro also gives a darker look as part of the shadowline treatment.

There are no individual colors available at the start, which is not surprising, since the Debrecen plant in Hungary is a completely new location that was built from scratch. It can take some time before the paint shop can handle special surfaces. From 2027 the “NA5” will also be produced in Mexico. The San Luis Potosi plant has experience with individual colors after recently expanding the M2 range.
In addition to the standard configurator options, the IX3 has already been equipped with a few M parts. BMW Welt is currently showing the “NA5” with an add-on and an additional spoiler that is mounted on the roof spoiler. This is probably only the tip of the iceberg, as it is expected to follow more extras.
A potential M -Performance version called IX3 M60 would be an ideal chance to expand the catalog of the M -Power parts. Insider also claims that BMW is working on a full-fledged M variant, which would not be surprising in view of the confirmed electrical M3 sedan. It is expected that these versions with M-taste have more aggressive styling, unique bikes and other changes in the corporation.
Europe will run the way for the rollout of the IX3. Deliveries to customers on the old continent begin in spring 2026, followed by the United States in summer. At around the same time, BMW is sent to Chinese customers from its local Shenyang factory at the beginning of a long-wheel version.
