BMW IX3 Alpine white for the first time on live photos

The IAA Mobility Show in Munich started for the press today, and BMW had a pleasure for participating in journalists. The IX3 in Alpine White appeared the first public appearance and showed what the electrical SUV looks like in its only cheap lacquer option. Space Silver and Ocean Wave Blue, already seen in the metal, each command a premium of € 960 in Germany. BMW calculates the same for Sapphire Black and Polarized Gray, while M Brooklyn Gray is at a price at € 1,160.

Although the US SPEC IX3 configurator is not yet alive, the Basic Visualizer confirms two additional colors: Eucalyptus Green and Vegas Red (in other markets sold red). Both will probably cost additional costs compared to alpine white. Interestingly, BMW decided to show the electric frequency for the M sports package. This example simply keeps things in basic cladding, even though it offers optional bikes. The 21-inch aerodynamic set (Codenamed 1049) adds € 1,500 to the invoice.

Another option that is equipped here is the panoramic roof. Although it does not open backwards or does not extend completely, it is an extra that we would not skip. The glass offers solar energy and 100% UV protection. With an additional charge, it can be combined with sun protection, which is available as an official accessories.

At the start, the 50 XDrive will be the only variant offered. An IX3 40 SDRIVE is also planned for those who do not need all -wheel drive. These “40” models were due in the USA in early 2027. For those who don’t want to wait that long, the first version will be offered for sale next summer, with European deliveries starting earlier in spring 2026.

If you prefer the same hardware and software in a sedan, the i3 arrives in 2026. Thanks to its lower and lighter body, it should be even more efficient than the IX3. Despite their close relationships, the two models are built in various European plants: the IX3 in Debrecen from November and the i3 in Munich from mid -2026.
