BMW M3 CS Touring meets the route, but not the Nurburgring

The M3 CS Touring made headlines this week after claiming the round record for the fastest production car in the Nürburgring. BMW’s first competitive sports model with a long roof has already removed another route in Great Britain. The spicy G81 with a layout with a right drive went to the Thruxton Circuit.

It is actually the second time that we painted this quick property in British racing green. BMW UK recently shared pictures of the M3 CS Touring on public roads, and now we admire the car on the racetrack near the village of Thruxton in Hampshire. The race track was originally built as an airfield in 1942 during the Second World War and was founded in 1968. It is one of the fastest in the country, so that the drivers could reach speeds of more than 186 km/h (300 km/h).

The M3 CS tour was recently held in its most striking paintwork in the 2.3 mile route (3.8 kilometers). Beyond the individual color, the matt golden bronze wheels are a sight. It is one of the most expensive cars that can buy money in Great Britain. The pricing begins at £ 126,275, but the color alone adds £ 4,385. At least the striking 827m wheels are “free”.

Although the CS is the flagship model, there are still boxes on the option list. Do you want carbon ceramic brakes? These are further £ 8,800. Dark headlights add £ 275, while acoustic glazing for the front with laminated safety glass costs an additional 200 pound. Overall, they spend an ophthalia £ 140,000 for the M3 CS tour or almost as much as an M5 tour with all the bells and whistles.

Apart from steep prices, credit to BMW for offering two power cars on today’s SUV-dominated market. Giving the M3 tour of a CS version is the icing on the cake. It is probably only a matter of time before his bigger brother gets the same treatment. If there is an M5-CS tour in the pipeline, it can be based on the mid-cycle update expected in 2027. Of course, a sports limousine, which is tensioned, also seems to be a safe bet.

It would be interesting to see whether the M5 -CS tour can surpass this car in the Nürburgring. It is unlikely that BMW will publish a lap time unless it exceeds the 7-minute and 29.49 second run of the M3 CS Touring around the green hell. Thanks to its V8 engine and the electric motor, the G99 can offer considerably more electricity, but it is also much more difficult.

Apart from lap times, Purists are likely to be involved in the pure internal combustion and 625 kilograms for his pure internal combustion experience and 625 kilograms. If BMW had added a shifting of the switching and a carbon roof, it could have been almost perfect. But a manual transmission cannot manage as much electricity and torque, and the adjustment of a carbon roof would have been too much trouble for a low volume product on the Munich assembly line.
