At 543 hp, the M4 -CSL was strongly undermined, but Manhart is here to fix it. Apart from the joke, the sports coupé on Supercar performance levels was increased without using a complex engine exchange. It retains the proven S58, a 3.0-liter inline six with several M and Alpina models. Manhart replaced the standard turbochargers with a custom set from TTH and combined them with its own improved charge air cooler.
The tuner also assembled new blacksmith pistons and connection rods, an outlet stainless steel output and a carbon intake. The ECU was diverted and the automatic transmission was revised to master the additional grunt. BMWS eight-speed M-Steptronic can now manage 1,300 NM (959 LB-FT), which is conveniently completed with the monstrous 1,190 NM (878 LB-FT) of the engine.
For the context, the no longer existing Quad Turbo B57S six-cylinder diesel in the M50D models only offered “Just” 760 Nm (561 LB-FT). And don’t forget that the M4-CSL rear-wheel drive is. Sending all this power supply to the rear wheels is a recipe for tail double, provided you know what you are doing behind the steering wheel.
This black monster is one of only 1,000 m4 CSLs from BMW and stands out with Manhart’s aggressive body kit. The matt black multi-spoke wheels made by Raffa measure 20 inches at the front with 285/30 tires and 21 inches at the back with 305/25 rubber. No Manhart Build would be complete without the champagne-colored accents. Wherever they look, there are also carbon fibers along with fat 110 mm quad exhaust tips.

The long list of modifications includes highly adjustable coilover sources for sharper handling and more visual drama. Since this build is based on the CSL, Manhart had a lot of space in the rear cabin to install a roller cage. New floor mats and champagne round off the interior changes. Although not mentioned expressly, the left air ventilation was replaced by an auxiliary screen in which the most important performance data is displayed.
It is worth noting that Manhart did not upgrade the brakes despite the enormous power beads. On the other hand, the CSL standard carbon ceramic setup should be more than the task in this wild G82-based creation.
