BMW presents a new design installation in this year’s Salone del Mobile in Milan and offers the future of mobility more precisely through the lens of creativity, personalization and technology. The exhibition entitled “Vibrant Transitions” is open from April 8th to 13th and is located in the historic Palazzo Borromeo d’Ada, where visitor can explore immersive rooms that reflect the design philosophies of BMW and Mini.
The heart of the installation is a number of thematic spaces that highlight how individualization becomes an important part of the automobile design. A newly formed cross-brand design team, which works in collaboration with BMWS Creative Consultancy Designwork, developed the exhibition to examine how materials, color, shape and digital interfaces can work together to form future products.

Of course it’s also about cars. One of the main attractions is the BMW X3 “Designer’s Choice”, which is displayed in the courtyard. This version of the new G45 BMW X3 has been completed in a striking frozen tanzanite blue color, a deep matt tone, which combines sporty presence with a reserved elegance. The vehicle is located on large 21-inch 1037 m lighting wheels in a two-tone star spoke design, one of the largest rad options in the factory. At night, thanks to the illuminated legendary legendary grilles, the car takes on a completely different character, which gives the front end a dramatic visual element.

There are no other unique design interior elements, so that they receive the same styling and the same materials as in the BMW X3 M50. Speaking of M-Performance models, the new X3 M50 is powered by the 3.0-liter inline-SIX engine from B58 with mild hybrid technology and delivers 393 hp and 428 LB-FT torque. It sprints from 0 to 60 miles per hour in about 4.4 seconds and reaches a top speed of 155 miles per hour. The power is sent through an 8-speed automatic transmission across all four wheels via the XDRIVE system from BMW.
The youngest manufacturer recommended retail price (MSRP) for the 2025 BMW X3 M50 XDrive in the USA begins at $ 64,700. It is unclear whether this price will change in the near future due to tariffs.
