BMW turnover climb in H1 2025 despite EV -DIP Mini makes a huge q2 increase

The BMW of North America recorded modest growth in the first half of 2025, with the total turnover of BMW in the same period in the same period in the same period in the same period in 2024. In the second quarter alone, sales remained significantly flat, with 90,884 vehicles sold – a minor dip of 0.4% dip of Q2 2024 of 91,237.

President and CEO of BMW from North America, Sebastian Mackensen, praised the company’s resistance in view of the market against the market: “Our sales performance in the first half of the year is a clear indication that we have the right strategy, products and dealer network,” said Mackensen. “We are confident in our business and look forward to building this progress in the second half of the year despite some challenges on the market.”

BMW car cars recorded a strong second quarter with 9.7% compared to the previous year to 42,211 units. Due to the sales increases of limousines and coupé, 11.2% (85,830 units) increased by 11.2%, which signals a strong demand for models such as 3 Series and the All Electric I4. Conversely, the Light Truck segment from BMW, which includes popular X-Line crossovers and SUVs, has achieved a slowdown. Sales in the second quarter fell by 7.7% to 48,673 units, whereby the results were due to 5.9% from 92,669 vehicles. The decline reflects the changing consumer dynamics and potential supply restrictions in key segments.

Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV )’s sales achieved a remarkable goal in the second quarter of 2025. The BMW sold 11,094 EVS – a decline of 21.2% compared to 14,081 units in Q2 2024. The decline is largely attributed to weaker services from newer models such as the i5 and i7.

  • The BMW i5 recorded the sharpest quarterly decline and fell 43.6% to 1,434 units.
  • The flagship i7 dropped 11.7% to 820 units.
  • Despite modest profits, the IX fell by 3.9% by 12.1% to 3,116 units.

A ray of hope is the BMW i4, which, with an increase in deliveries of 10.7% of the year, still gains 12,849 units in dynamics. In total, BMW sold 24,632 BEVS in the first six months of the 2025, somewhat after 24,794 units in the same period of the previous year-a decline of 0.7% compared to the previous year.

The Mini brand was an outstanding performer in the second quarter with a turnover of 29.1% to 7,616 units, compared to 5,898 in the same quarter of the previous year. The turnover of mini from year to year is now 14,592 units, which leads to an increase of 19% compared to the previous year.
