This is not just any M3 E30. It is a rare sports development that belongs to one of our heroes in the car business. Mate Rimac bought one of only 600 cars that were ever made, and it is far from its first BMW. Its electric journey actually started with an E30, although a smaller 325i with a blown engine that creates the perfect opportunity for an electric exchange.
Many years later, his passion for the second generation 3 Series is still very alive. Until the point that he dreams of building the ultimate E30. The Bugatti Rimac CEO told Top Gear Magazine that he wants to make a full rest mig with a large old V10. Although the 37-year-old does not enter Croatian entrepreneurs about the engine, we can make a well-founded guess.

After all, there was only one of M: the naturally sucked 5.0 liter V10 from the M5 E60/E61 and M6 E63/E64. The S85B50 had a short run, with BMW producing only for about six years between 2005 and 2011.
But there is a problem: time or more precisely the lack. If he heads both Bugatti and Rimac, he is busy around the clock. That is why he sees a V10 provider of M3 E30 Restomod as a more old-age provision project. If and when it happens, it is much more than just six more cylinders than the original M3 was designed for the recording.
The head Honcho provides for a complete Restomod that covers everything from design to the oily parts. Its appreciation for BMWS goes far beyond the original M3. He owned everything from an M3 CSL to the M6 E64 mentioned above. Over the years, his garage also included an M5 E39, a Z4 M Coupé, an M5 competition F90 and probably other M models that we do not know.
Mate Rimac also has a direct connection with BMW. Last year, the BMW Group and Rimac Technology signed a long -term partnership that focused on EVS. It is still unclear what will come from the collaboration. But whatever it is, we are confident that it will be something exciting. Maybe even in connection with future M products? Crossed thumbs.
