Electric BMW M3 spy the Nurburgring: Video

The only sound that you will hear from this BMW M3 prototype is the sound of its tires. Yes, an electric M3 comes and a new spy video in the Nürburgring shows the “ZA0” in action. It seems impressive quickly, although Purists may argue that it has lost its soul without the gas engine. However, the EV does not replace the internal combustion model. M plans to introduce a separate M3 “G84” with an inline-six engine.

The electric M3 sporty wheel boxes seem to have all production bodies panels. We are not entirely convinced that the headlights and taillights are final, but their general shape and size will probably remain unchanged. If you are a placeholder cluster, you can expect updated internal graphics for the production of production.

As shown in the film material, the test car is not nearly as extreme as the concept of the vision Driving Experience, which looked like something for our taste to be fair. Instead, this prototype is similar to a rejected version of the 2023 Vision NEE class concept. It sits low on the Nordschleife Asparcac and is not afraid to show its big front air.

The weight remains a problem, but BMW claims that its gene6 round cell batteries will deliver 20% higher energy density than today’s prismal cells from Gen5. This gives us hope that the M division does not fill an oversized battery and possibly avoid a significant weight penalty. Nevertheless, the prototype looks difficult, so we have to see whether it can match the dynamic ability of his gas -powered counterpart.

Regarding the performance, sources near Munich tell us that the “ZA0” will be the most powerful M3 so far. Expect around 670 hp, with even stronger versions. BMW could reflect the installation of the Gas M3 by offering both back and all-wheel drive variants. However, a manual gear is off the table. In order to make things worse, the next generation gas M3 can lose configuration of the switching shift and the configuration of the rear wheel drive.

Don’t expect to see soon. BMW will have an impact on the standard i3 in 2026 and it is unlikely that the M version will arrive before 2027. In the second half of 2028, the benzine chic is expected.
