There are not many car meetings such as the annual meeting of the Rolls-Royce Owner Clubs and Clubs and that is part of his charm. Intimate and personally, it is less about the spectacle and more about the stories, the people and the deeply tailor -made machines that they bring together. This year the event was held in the Serene Cheyenne Mountain Resort in Colorado Springs. Before we took part in the Concours celebrations, we were invited by Rolls-Royce North America to experience their latest creations-the updated Ghost Series II and the Cullinan Series II on a spirited journey to the summit of PIK Peak. It was a suitable memory that the trip itself is the goal in the world of Rolls-Royce.
To understand what is presenting this weekend, you have to understand what it means to have a Rolls-Royce. It’s not just about transport. It’s about timeless presence. By commanding a room – or a way – without a word. These are vehicles that whispers, not in shouts. Your value is not measured in lap times or acceleration diagrams, but how you feel when the world slows down around you.
A weekend in the world of Rolls-Royce

From the moment you arrive at the meeting of the Owner’s Club, it is clear that you have entered another world. There are no barriers. No velvet ropes or lightning stage. Only owners and their families share stories about tailor-made builds, cross-country tours and the relationships they have built up with their Rolls-Royce advisors, designers and discharges. You quickly realize that it is not a status symbol to be a Rolls-Royce owner-it is a lifestyle that celebrates art, individuality and striving for effortless luxury.
The resort itself was the ideal canvas for this meeting. The Cheyenne Mountain Resort at the foot of the Rocky Mountains has a great golf course where the Rolls-Royce found a home for the weekend.
The way to Pikes Peak

The highlight of the weekend was not a gala or garden party, but a 14,000 foot climb to one of the most famous peaks in North America. For Rolls-Royce, this was not just a scenic drive-was a demonstrative floor. Because while most SUVs and luxurious limousines shy away from twisted switching parts and dramatic height changes, they hugged ghost and cullinan with grace.
In the Ghost Series II, which was completed in a breathtaking two -colored anniversary silver and blue, we immediately noticed the improvements that distinguished it from its predecessor. A cleaner, shaped front fascia with newly designed headlights and the now iconic pantheon cooler grill indicates the tone for an experience that is as modern as majestic.

And yet it is below the surface that defines the mind. The 6.75-liter twin-turbo-V12 buzzes quietly-produced 563 hp (or 591 in the black badge)-but rarely attention. Instead, it is the planary suspension system that has been developed for over ten years and steals the show. The predictive technology of the system reads the street in front of us, adapts the chassis in real time and enables this 5,600 pound salon to float up the mountain in the air. Experience is not only quiet – it is transcendent.
The spirit of the SUV: Cullinan Series II

But if the spirit is grace, the cullinan is available. Our Twilight Purple Cullinan Series II also stood out under a sea of exceptional machines. With its suitable duality twill interior, the cabin felt like a private art gallery curated in lavender tones. The new glass pane of columns over the Pillar spans the dashboard, reflects the digital interface introduced in the all -electricity and now takes place through the line -up. It is intuitive and elegant and combines technology in craftsmanship without compromise.

The cullinan remains the yardstick for what a luxury SUV can be. On the basis of pure magic air suspension, it drives on itself, the constant setting of shock absorbers, street scanning cameras and active anti-roll bars all over to deliver the typical magic carpet ride of the brand. There is simply no other vehicle that glides over mountain roads with such an attitude. The journey is indeed so composed that even passengers who are susceptible to car arms enjoy the ascent with a fuel from champagne in the hand.
And that’s not a chauffeur car – although many buyers certainly have one. According to Rolls-Royce, more than 90% of Cullinan customers take at least part of the time themselves. And good for them, because to control a cullinan, it is redefined to understand the poetry of power and control.
A cabin that goes beyond the comparison

Luxury in a Rolls-Royce is not about striking functions-es is about craftsmanship that you can see, touch and hear. Or don’t hear. After all, this is the quietest SUV on the market. The inmates in the Cullinan can switch between the almost complete silence and an 18-spokesman audio experience with an 18-spokesman audio experience, which the aluminum body caves uses as resonators for rich, spatial sound.
It is not just the journey that is beyond the world-it is the space itself. New inner materials such as gray-colored ash wood, the perforated leather of clouds and the now standard rear entertainment upgrades transform the cullinan into a rolling sanctuary. And yes, there is still the umbrella in the door. The most luxurious umbrella that you will ever use.
From 410,350 US dollars, the Cullinan is not cheap – but for many owners the price is only the beginning. With the Black Badge model that offers a bump in power and a darker, Kuanian aesthetics, it is easy for those who are already involved in the game.
Re -present the spirit

Back in the mind, the duality of modernity and tradition continues. Inside, the new spirit operating system and the digital cluster can be adjusted so that it corresponds to the color palette of the car. From the seating to the headliner of the shooting star, this is more than a car – it is a mobile escape. For Black Badge customers, the improvements are more than aesthetic. The suspension is firmer, the gas shield and the low mode of the ZF 8-speed transmission add a throatier soundtrack and longer equipment considers a little more drama in their journey.

What impressed us the most about the ghost was not just his elegance -but his trust. Nothing has to prove. It’s simple. If you drive it up a mountain, this happens with serenity. When they drive through the city, people stop – not out of envy, but respect. The spirit honors its name. It seems that it moves and it disappears again.
The luxury of the trip

In most cars we have the goal. But in a Rolls-Royce, the goal is almost irrelevant. Every mile is an experience. Every stop becomes a photo opportunity. Every moment in the cabin becomes part of the story. And that was exactly this weekend – a memory that luxury, true luxury, is not about excess. It’s about experience. It’s about time, attention and calm.
Driving Pikes Peak in a Rolls-Royce is a moment that only a few are forgotten. Not because of the performance. Not because of the technology. But because of how we felt. Connected, calm and quietly fascinated.
This is especially the Rolls-Royce Art.
