Mini is not ready to sell an electric five -door little assembly line, but offers a solid alternative. The CodemaD “J05”, the Aceman, is essentially a crossover version of the Electric Cooper -Fließheckback (“J01”). Mini produces both EVs in China and are the most affordable electrical models of the BMW group. The duo should enter production in Oxford in 2026, but that no longer happens.
A new photo shoot in a beautiful winter backdrop shows the Aceman in a lively look. The stronger se variant in the preferred equipment variant can be seen here with an optional red painting of rebels. Our favorite upgrade of the standard model is the bike design – the John Cooper Works Rallye spoke (992). The 18-inch set shown here is equipped with the lively silver look, but you can also opt for lightly twisted (white) or frozen midnight (black).

Mini built this press car with the Vescin Dark gasoline padding. Alternatively, you can make it safe and choose beige instead. The car manufacturer, based in the UK, uses vegan leather in both cases, similar to the parent company BMW has Veganza for some of his cars. The cheerful interior keeps a few physical buttons on the dashboard to get quick access. However, the 9.4-inch circle-shaped OLED touchscreen is undoubtedly the focus of the entire cabin.
In contrast to the larger electric country crossover, which is offered with all-wheel drive, the Aceman is only an affair with front-wheel drive. The SE has 218 hp and 330 Nm instead of the 184 hp of the base model and 290 Nm. Mini quotes a 0 to 62 km/h (100 km/h) in 7.1 seconds or 7.9 seconds if they are at the entry -Aceman E. Another advantage of the SE are the larger battery, 54.2 kWh instead of 42.5 kWh. It brings more range at 405 kilometers (WLTP) compared to 309 km for the basic model.
Since the mini delayed the production of electric cars in Great Britain for an indefinite period, there is the difficult chance of seeing the Aceman in the United States soon. The same applies to the Electric Cooper Schrährheck that does not get a US visa in the foreseeable future.
