France’s Alpine confirmed on Wednesday that the production of the A110 will end in 12 months and that the conclusion of an era for the sports car with medium engine.
To celebrate this milestone, Alpine carries out special editions, including the newly unveiled A110 R 70 and A110 GTS, both of which are also reminiscent of them 70th anniversary of the brand this year.
These new models come just a few months after the A110 R Ulime’s debut, A Flagship in limited edition This also serves as a final dispatch for the A110 list.
The A110 R 70, the last of the A110 R models based on the track, is installed in a limited run of 770 cars. It retains the 300 hp version of Alpine In the middle of 1,8-liter Turbo-4Coupled with a 7-speed automatic transmission with two couplings and a rear wheel drive like all other A110S. Performance improvements include light bold fiber (including for the bikes), an Akrapovič exhaust with a high river and Michelin Cup 2 tires for additional handles. Inside, the cabin contains custom details and 70th logos. In addition, an ultra-exclusive R 70 tricolor version will be available, which is painted in one of the three colors of the French flag.

The A110 GTS replaces the Previous GT and S modelsKeep the sporty chassis setup of the S variant. The big upgrade for the GTS is the Aero kit inspired by the Hardcore -R model. This package includes a front splitter, side skirts, a rear spoiler and a rear wing that improves both downforce and stability. Like the A110 R 70, the GTS is also powered by the 300 hp turbo-4.
From May, both models will be available for ordering in markets in which Alpine works.
The A110 originally debut in 2017 and revived Alpine’s brands after a 22-year break. While the production ends, Alpine has already confirmed an electrical successor who will arrive later this decade. This new electrical A110 will be One of seven new modelsWith the recently launched A290 Hot Hatch and the upcoming A390 Compact Crossover. With a view to the future, Alpine plans to expand into the SUV segment of luxury performance, whereby models are targeting Porsche Macan and Cayenne. This expansion will play a key role in the US market debut in Alpine, which is expected around 2027. A super sports car is also in the pipeline.
