Thanks to a completely renewed product range, MINI USA sales increased by 24.6% to 21,862 vehicles through September. To maintain this momentum, the BMW-owned brand reintroduced the Oxford Edition earlier this year, cutting the starting price of the three- and five-door hatchbacks by $4,000. Now this value-oriented feature is also available on the Countryman, which receives the same significant discount.
You can now get behind the wheel of a Countryman S ALL4 for just $36,075, including destination and handling fees. The Oxford Edition is available in Blazing Blue, Nanuq White or Chili Red at no extra charge. Regardless of the color, the compact crossover features black mirror caps and a black roof.
New for 2026 are the black 18-inch wheels in asteroid spoke design, which are shod with all-season tires. While MINI hasn’t released any interior photos, the Countryman Oxford Edition features an anthracite-colored headliner. Even though it’s the new entry-level model, it still has extras like tinted windows and the Active Driving Assistant.

The Oxford Edition is offered exclusively with the Countryman’s gas-powered 2.0-liter turbocharged engine, which produces 241 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque and is sent to all four wheels via a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.
If you’d rather go electric, expect to pay about $10,000 more, as the zero-emission Countryman SE ALL4 starts at $46,375. Both ICE and EV variants are built at BMW’s Leipzig plant in Germany. Notably, the Countryman remains the only electric MINI currently available in the United States. Unfortunately, this situation is unlikely to change any time soon.
The three-door hatchback (J01) and five-door subcompact crossover Aceman (J05) are not coming to the U.S. because both are made in China. MINI had planned to produce the two electric vehicles at home in Oxford, but those plans have been postponed indefinitely. We assume that the British-built electric models would have had a better chance of being approved in the US.
Around a year ago, MINI put the market launch of the electric duo in North America on hold without committing to a future date.
