Even according to modern Mini standards, the latest compatriot is a huge car. Nevertheless, it can look even more impressive with tuner-prescribed steroids. Japan’s 3D design, a BMW specialist, has now drawn attention to the John Cooper Works version of the not so mini-crossover. For clarity, this is the actual JCW model with the more powerful engine, not just the Named equipment volume.
So what has changed? 3D design has created a new carbon fiber front spoiler lip to give the compatriot a more common face. It assembles directly on the original bumper and improves the presence of the JCW from the front. On the sides, carbon fiber skirts emphasize the width of the largest mini so far. A new carbon diffuser protrudes under the quad exhaust tips in front of the back.
Elsewhere, 3D design has created a roof edge spoiler made of polyurethane, which extends beyond the OEM piece to increase the sporting appearance. While Mini offers several 19- and 20-inch wheels, the JCW goes one step further with a custom 21-inch set. Yes, these are 21-inch wheels on a mini, and surprisingly they don’t look exaggerated. The lowering of the springs has reduced the driving level by 25 millimeters (one inch), which gives the compatriot the attitude of an oversized hot hatch.

There is currently a new exhaust system to give the crossroads a medium soundtrack and possibly a slight increase in electricity. In the United States, the 2.0-liter engine from Turboch produces 312 hp, but the European version is placed on 296 hp to comply with stricter emission regulations. This customer-specific building with a right drive made of 3D design has the Japanese specification with the Uncorked B48 engine.
Even with the aero kit, the compatriot remains significantly box -shaped from every perspective. In a sea of curvy crucifixion with Swoopy roof lines, we would argue that this is a good thing. The upgrades are rounded off, including a suitable footrest.
