New 2026 BMW M3 configurator adds iconic individual colors

The 2026 BMW M3 configurator has just gone live and offers enthusiasts a new playground to explore iconic individual colors. Regardless of whether you are nostalgically available for Laguna Seca Blue or curious about colors like Goodwood Green Pearl, which is never seen before, this update.

BMW has just started a new configurator for the 2026 BMW M3. Although we had not expected many changes compared to last year, BMW has done a little favor for those who consider individual color schemes for their next M3. Depending on the model you have selected, you now have a selection of the iconic individual colors to choose from. But that doesn’t mean you save money. Each color is offered at a regular sales price of 4,500 US dollars. Save three frozen colors that hold last year. But there is a decent look at what some M3 colors of the heir look like on the 2026 G80.

Configure a 2026 BMW M3 with a manual transmission means access to some of the best M3 colors that ever adorn the type shield. You will receive some fantastic E36 colors, including Techno Violet Metallic and Dakar Yellow. You will also find Oxford Green Metallic, a particularly deep and metallic green that shows on everything from M coupés to occasional E46 M3. Speaking of E46 M3 and rounds off the palette with two colors that really shone in these early 2000s: Laguna Seca Blue and Imola Red II. Both are particularly searched for on the E46 M3, although imola is available in front of this chassis.

Competition and competition XDrive models of the 2026 BMW M3 see similar but not identical color exhibitions. Dakar Yellow is divided between the two, but the rest is different, albeit less iconic. Zinnober replaces Imola Red, and the good old LSB is in favor of Avus Blue. Both have been around for decades and are available for models M and non-M series. Oddly enough, Cinnabar is currently missed “Cinabar” on the US configurator.

Goodwood Green Pearl Effect Metallic replaces Oxford Green, although the thematic name holds. I think this is the first time that we have seen this color “officially”. In addition, it is one of many colors that have appeared over several brands – namely Audi and Porsche. Finally, Daytona Violet Metallic is located below, a metallic purple that (again) appeared on many M and non-M cars over the years.

BMW’s online configurators are always a great time sink, especially if the car manufacturer raises some individual colors to show what is possible. As we saw in the 8 series at the beginning of the month, this is only a shop window of what is possible. You can still order free color from the full BMW -specific catalog that you can imagine. And if you want to see other colors, you can always rely on the BMW single visualizer so that you can also look at other vehicles in the BMW line -up with a special paint of individual color. Have fun configuring!
