Rarely BMW M3 GT4 shows itself for sale in the USA

You will not find many people who are willing to pay the princely sum of 170,000 US dollars for an M3 from 2009. Those who are willing to spend so much money understand that this is not just any M3. We speak of a factory-built racing car from the E92 newspaper when the M3 still had two doors. It is an exceptionally rare sight in the United States and we could see the only one in the country.

Colligo The M3 GT4 has to win on the clock with only 11,600 kilometers (7,207 miles). Under the bonnet there is a naturally sucked up 4.0-liter V8 engine and sends 480 hp to the rear wheels via a six-speed manual transmission, all of which weighs in a car with only 1,430 kilograms (3,153 pounds).

Chassis #17 was originally not delivered. The first owner picked it up from a dealer in Stockholm, Belgium. Sixteen years later, in 2022, the United States lives. More than 30,000 US dollars were issued to legally import the car. Since then, the current owner has invested another 70,000 US dollars to bring the M3 GT4 into the top condition.

According to the listing, the single seat racing car is completely up to date and does not require any additional work. The alpine white machine has a retro painting, which is inspired by the E46 M3 GTR by Schnitzer Motorsport. Compared to the production version, the M3 GT4 has carbon fiber doors, a 100-liter fuel tank and an improved exhaust gas system with a racing catalyst.

BMW also assembled adjustable shock absorbers, BBS bikes as well as the macrolone side and the rear windows to reduce weight. The welded roller cage and the steering wheel with quick publications are difficult to overlook. Other special features are an Air Jack system and a Recaro racing seat with a Hans device (head and neck support).

Some of the documentation contained contains an invoice from 2010, which shows the original price of € 122,000. Today is the spiritual successor to BMW M Motorsport of the M4 GT4 EVO, which starts at a much higher price of € 219,000 before taxes.
