If you operate a platform like ours, it is not just about cars, but also about creating content, storytelling and occasionally the joys of life beyond the garage. Regardless of whether we edit high-resolution videos in the studio, record filmic 360-degree film material in the middle of the world or test a new lifestyle supplement like a BMW baby stroller, the equipment we select. Here is a look at some of the latest additions to our creative arsenal – and why you deserve a place in our daily workflow.
Secretlab Magnus Pro Desk & Monitor ARM: Built for editors

One of our constant challenges as a video creator is to optimize our editing room. Processing is not just about electricity, but about attitude, comfort, screen space and adjustability. We needed a setup that could support the long hours that are spent on the production of car reviews, interviews and reviews of events such as Pebble Beach or CES. Here the Secretlab Magnus Pro Steh switch and the Magnus Monitor ARM (Heavy Arm Edition) came into play.
The Magnus Pro offers a first -class experience with a standing desk with a clean, minimal design and a serious performance. The double engines offer a wide height of 25.6 to 49.2 inches and support up to £ 265 for a multi-monitor setup. The Magnetic Cable Management system from Secretlab keeps everything tidy, especially if they are combined with their suitable accessories.
The 40-inch ultraWide editing monitor is the Magnus Heavy Duty Monitor ARM. With the support of displays up to 57 inches and £ 35, it processes our screen without any problems and offers a complete adjustment of inclination, pan and altitude height. The entire setup looks specially built, feels rocky and makes us-a little more professional.
Nuna X BMW Mixx Next stroller: Babies first bimmer

When one of our team members announced that he had expected it, we knew two things: 1) You would need a stroller, and 2) it had to be in the fire. Enter the Nuna Mixx Next BMW edition – a collaboration between the Premium Dutch Baby Gear brand and BMW, which combines style, function and luxury. It is the type of stroller that revolves around the head in cars and coffee.
Apart from the badges, this stroller is incredibly well suited. With free fex suspension and foam filled all-terrain tires, it is easy to negotiate with cracked sidewalks and pebbles. The seat lies flat for newborns and can quickly be turned forward or backwards. The UPF 50+ Baldachin has built -in ventilation and there is a spacious storage basket underneath.
At around £ 29, it is solid, but still manageable and folds into an upright, independent position with one hand. BMW beak are everywhere -from the shiny black frame to the stepped leather disc and the signature wheel design. It is the ultimate solution for baby mobility for the enthusiast parent.
Insta360 X5: The 360 cam that leads everywhere

In the past few months we have traveled from the Shanghai skyline from Neons to the winding climbs of the Pikes Peak. There was a tool at every location: the Insta360 x5. It is our point of contact for unhappy stories, especially if we need dynamic B-roll or filmic 360-degree recordings of events such as the BMW Vision Driving Experience or Auto Shanghai. And thanks to its double 1/1.28 -inch sensors, the X5 breathtaking 8K 360 video shoots and catches up 72 MP stills, which makes it perfect for refreshing content in the post.
The camera is also robust. It is waterproof up to 49 feet, has an extended wind turbine reduction and, thanks to the AI-powered purevideo mode of Inta360, has an excellent performance in poor lighting conditions. Regardless of whether we hunt a concept car via a car show floor or hang on the back of an X5 in Colorado, the X5 captures everything.
Bonus: The touchscreen user interface is intuitive, the battery takes about 90 minutes in 8k mode, and everything fits in a jacket pocket. It is closest to a cinematic drone that you can use without actually flying one.
Fanatec Clubsport DD + Podium BMW M4 GT3 Rad: A Sim -Rennt dream

We finally built our own Sim Racing Rig. And if we wanted to do it, we wanted to do it right – a BMW style. At the center of our setup is the Fanatec Clubsport -DD wheelbase, paired with the official Podium BMW M4 GT3 steering wheel. This is not a replica. It is exactly the same wheel that is used in Real BMW M4 GT3 and GT4 racing car that are adapted for the SIM use.
The fake coal fiber land, magnetic slide and customizable RGB keys scream motorsport. It is functional art and feels incredible in the hand. The handle is shaped rubber, the rotary coders are intuitive and the built-in OLED screen enables us to access data without overfilling our SIM view.

Powering it all is Clubsport DD, a 12-nm DIRE drive base, which delivers silky, happy and brutally realistic feedback. It is strong enough for Pro-Level SIM racing drivers, but affordable enough to be viewed as a “middle class” in the DD world. Combined with the QR2 quick publication system, it is future-proof and rocky.
This setup does not only apply to racing games – it is a connection to the same hardware that is used in the actual racing cars of BMW. And after hours of testing in Iracing and Assetto Corsa Cmotrizione, we can say confidently: It is the next to drive a real M4 GT3 without leaving your home.
Regardless of whether we edit videos, capture global car shows, hunt toddlers or chase round times, the right equipment helps us to tell better stories-to stay in the fire. These tools may have no motors or bikes (okay, one of them), but they reflect the same passion for precision, performance and premium quality that drives everything we do.
