The most expensive BMWs in Germany act as the company flagship models and embody its DNA “Ultimate Driving Machine” and at the same time demonstrate the most advanced technology and technologies of the automobile manufacturer in Munich. Although not all commercial success, due to their niche positioning and violent competition in the Ultra-Luxury segment (€ 150,000 and more), they are still involved in maintaining BMW’s brand prestige. And in this article we will analyze these vehicles.
1. BMW XM Label – € 203,000

As in the United States, the most expensive BMW in Germany is the XM label, which begins at € 203,000. There are two main reasons for the high price. First, the XM is the first independent model of BMW M since the M1 supercar and its first high-performance plug-in hybrid. Second, the XM label is also the most powerful model of the brand and delivers a strong power of 738 hp and £ 738 pound-foot torque. This enables it in just 3.6 seconds from 0 to 60 miles per hour.
Admittedly, the Porsche Cayenne Turbo, the Range Rover and the X5 M competition are still more attractive SUVs, but the XM label is a landmark model for BMW, and its pricing mainly reflects this status.
2. BMW M8 Competition Cabrio – € 193,400 €

Next on the list is the M8 competition password with a price of € 193,400, although this could easily exceed € 200,000 with options such as frozen tanzanite blue (€ 6,900) and the M-output package (5,400 euros). Nevertheless, the performance of the M8 Cabriolibl justifies the price, with the 4.4-liter V8 twin turbo engine S63 625 PS and £ 553 producing torque and enables a time of only 3.1 seconds from 0 to 60 km / h. Nevertheless, BMWS offer its own M4 -Cabrio (€ 112,700) and the Z4 M40i (€ 70,200) a better price -performance ratio. While the Porsche Carrera S Cabriolet/Carrera GTS Cabriolet is also positioned in the same price range.
3. BMW M8 Competition Coupé – 185,400 €

The M8 competition Coupé is the third most common BMW in Germany and costs € 185,400. The specifications are comparable to the M8 convertible, but like the latter, it is overshadowed by the BMW’s own models and those of competitors. A typical example: the M4 competition CS is cheaper (€ 160,000), better performance and less frequent (limited production of 1700 units). In the meantime there is also the M2, which starts at only 77,500 euros and is now the most entertaining BMW coupé on the market. And when we go beyond BMW, the Porsche 911 Carrera/Carrera S and the Mercedes-AMG GT are undoubtedly better alternatives.
4. BMW M8 Gran Coupé – € 182,400 €

At € 182,400, the M8 Gran Coupé is the most affordable M8 variant in Germany (and thanks to its additional two doors, the most practical). Remarkably, the additional versatility is not at the expense of performance, with the S63 still 625 hp and reaching 0 to 60 miles per hour in 3.2 seconds. In addition, the lack of an M4 -gran coupé gives the M8 GC more breathing space at the top of the BMW set -up (in contrast to the M8 Coupé or convertible). So far, it is still difficult to justify the premium compared to the M3 (€ 95,100) and the M5 (€ 144,000).
5. BMW i7 M70 – 182,200 €

The list of i7 M70 from 182,200 will be rounded off. While the XM and the M8 can be overpriced and honestly commercial flops, the i7 M70 actually justifies its strong price. Why? Since it offers a better overall package than the Mercedes-Benz EQs and the Tesla Model S, while undermining the Porsche Taycan Turbos Sport Turismo (211,900 euros) and the Rolls-Royce Specter. Undoubtedly, its design still polarizes, but the refinement, opulence and technology define segmentally. Not to forget the stunning performance figures: 650 hp and a time of 0 to 60 miles per hour of only 3.5 seconds.
