The CS will only have two pedals and rear -wheel drive, but it will pack additional power and wear less weight. If this number is exactly, the M2 -CS is a tenth second than the M4 competition. The bigger brother with XDrive still holds the crown and makes the sprint in just 3.5 seconds. The M4 -CS is even faster and only needs 3.4 seconds to reach 62 km/h/h from a standstill.
But the CS may not be the fastest M2 for long. We often mentioned the strong way of an XDRIVE variant that will arrive next year. If BMW launches an all-wheel drive version of its smallest M car, it is only sold with the eight-speed steptronic. In contrast to previous reports, an AWD M2 would not spell the end for the rear drive version and its six-speed manual transmission.

According to reports, it will be debut in the next month, since BMW has promised to present a new M car in the Concorso d’Elanza Villa d’Este. The limited special edition is said to have 523 hp, which represents a massive 50-horsepower base above the current car. The M2 CS offers a M4-CSL-style duckail spoiler, a striking golden bronze wheels and a more aggressive front shot bars. Customers should also be able to order the car in velvet blue, in addition to the usual Black in Brooklyn and Sapphire.
