The G50 BMW 3 Series is on the way and carries inside and outside. But the treasure, the BMW M340i, is not a small performance. But we believe that the next generation G50 M350 is more than the challenge. Based on what we know about the BMW portfolio and the spy photos that were recorded when testing the car in the Nurburgring, we already have a lot of information.
On the one hand, BMW dropped the “i” bathroom from the M350. The “I” moniker, as you can see in the current generation X3, only changes to electric vehicles. The replacement of G50 M340i is probably simply the M350. The M350 will probably also be available with the return or all-wheel drive. There is a possibility that some markets do not see any RWD version. For example in Europe, where cars like the RWD M240i fulfilled their death.
2027 BMW M350 performance
Based on spy photos, the M350 receives many BMW M -Design details. I somehow have to earn the badge on my back, right? The mirrors of the car seem to imitate what we saw on the electric M3 model. So expect M-influenced wing mirrors. Perhaps the presence of four exhaust gas tips may be more exciting. This change reflects what we see elsewhere in the line -up (X3 M50). The Quad exhaust gas editions also indicate the presence of a familiar friend under the bonnet: the B58 engine.
Like the current M340i, the M350 uses a mild hybrid version of the B58 engine. The estimates of the power supply are around 410-415 hp (302-305 kW) or more than 30 hp than the current US SPEC version delivers. If the X3 M50 is a measuring device, the M350 could also collide about 428 pound foot torque (580 Nm). In both cases, it is likely that the M350 will have at least the same performance as the outgoing Supra A90 Finale Edition, which offered £ 420 foot (570 Nm). An eight-speed-ZF automatic transmission is a last generation holding. But if it is not broken, don’t repair it.
The 2027 BMW M350 can be seen here, as some other performance extras appeal to us. Red-paint-M-sports brakes are located behind at least 20-inch wheels. In fact, they appear to an OEM wheel that we are already familiar with and that came on the M440i. The style 862i wheels measure 20 x 8.5 front and 20 x 9.0 in the rear. The G20 M340i is only available in sizes of up to 19 inches, with the largest diameter of 8.5 inches in the back. A larger bike probably guarantees a little more a power base.

The 2027 BMW M350 was to start production in November 2026 as part of the generation of the BMW G50 3 series. It should also be available from the new 3 Series. The next M3, CHASSIS code G84, will follow in the life cycle much later, whereby the meeting begins at some point in July 2028.
