This G80 BMW M3 receives treatment with H&R Springs

The 2021 BMW M3 sedan is a monster directly from the box. With its 3.0-liter m-twower turbo-inline-SIX-SIX SIX SIX SIX SIX SIX SIX SIX and a 6-speed manual transmission, which has paired the dream weapon of every purist. But there is always space to penetrate the dial -and that’s exactly what it is with this dravit gray metallic G80 M3, which wears a bold Kyalami -orange interior and is now nicely (and low) on a fresh set of H&R Sport sources and trak+ Wheel distance holder.

Visually, the car already turns attention with its 825 m wheels in a double-spoke-style 19 × 9.5 inches at the front and 20 × 10.5 inch back in sticky pirelli P-zero-rubber (275/35R19 or 285/30R20). But the factory posture, although it was aggressive, left a small daylight in the wheel arches. Enter the H&R Super Sport Springs (part no.: 50496-77), which were specially developed for the Limousine 2021-2022 BMW M3 and M3 with adaptive M suspension.

The H&R Super Sport Springs fall the M3 front and 1.0 inches at the back. This subtle but significant lowering not only changes the attitude of the M3 – which is crouching after a crouching, sporty posture enthusiasts, but also the driving experience. Reduced body role, sharper curve reaction and a more connecting feeling of the road should make the M3 even more into a precision tool without sacrificing everyday life thanks to the compatibility with the factory adaptation dams.

And it’s not just about the drop. In order to really end the look, the Trak+ Wheel spacers from H&R were installed – 13 mm at the front and back. The spacers, which are equipped from a proprietary, light alloy than conventional ticket aluminum, push the wheels just enough to rinse them perfectly with the fenders. The result? A really aggressive attitude inspired by motorsport, which fills the muscle body of the M3, as it should always have from the factory.

What is impressive about the combination of H&R Springs and Spacers is how they maintain the daily mobility of the BMW and at the same time unlock the characteristics of the sharpness. The lowered focus and the extended track width lead to better mobility through corners, increased stability at speed and – which for each M car – an even deeper feeling of the connection between the driver and machine.

The installation requires professional attention, in particular to ensure proper orientation and alignment, but the payment is worthwhile. After the upgrade, a complete alignment keeps the tire wear in chess and ensures that the improvements in the handling are maximized.
