This unique BMW XM from G-Power is an exercise in opulence

The BMW XM is not exactly a hot good under the tuners and for a good reason; The sale was sluggish. Why should you take the trouble to change a model with limited market attractiveness? Nevertheless, a few custom builds were created, but none as extreme as this. Enter G-Power. The German Aftermarket specialist has announced its radical attitude to the G09.

This XM is invoiced as a one -time manner and is even more polarizing than the already splitting standard model, which was built in the Spartanburg plant by BMW in South Carolina. The mammoth SUV, which is soaked in light orange, makes the work plug-in hybrid look almost conservative. G-Power switched off with a full body kit, including an outstanding central bay. They also replaced the warehouse roof spoiler with a chunky rear wing.

While a few kilos of such a heavy vehicle could appear trivial, all add-ons are made from carbon fiber. Interestingly, despite the G-Power Build, the front skirt seems to come from none other than mansory, perhaps the most extravagant tuner in the industry. In the rear, oversized stacking exhaust tips protrude with an extremely complicated carbon diffuser.

The factory wheels are spent on the 23-inch alloys of G-Power. Even these currently comprise the two -color BMW. What happened with classic silver? The diamond cowl rims have a five-double spoke design and are wrapped in Michelin rubber: 285/25ZR23 front and 325/30ZR23 at the back.

And it’s not just all shows without an additional look. G-power patients spend astonishing 887 hp and 1,150 Newton meters (848 pound foot) torque. If this is not enough, an even more extreme upgrade is in the works, which is aimed at more than 1,000 hp from the 4.4-liter V8 plug-in hybrid from Twin-Turbo. This is a massive jump when you consider that the XM label on “Only” stands out 738 hp and 1,000 Nm (738 LB-FT).

The tuner has not explained in detail how the additional performance translates an improved acceleration, but a warehouse XM label is triggered 0–62 miles per hour (0–100 km/h) in 3.8 seconds. With the optional M driver package, the top speed is 290 km/h. However, this G-Power animal can reach 300 km/h (186 km/h).

Overkill? Maybe not. Anyone who buys an XM wants to withdraw, and the version of G-Power does this with unapologist-tedious flair.
