BMW M3 CS Touring meets Spanish roads in Laguna Seca Blau

BMW rubbed salt in the wounds of Americans who cannot buy the M3 tours, and show the G81 again. In order to make things worse, it shows the even hotter competitive sports version. The M-Division’s first CS-Baded car has landed in Spain and has ended up in our favorite of the four available colors: Laguna Seca Blue. Alternatively, the family tug for fathers in a hurry in sapphire black, frozen solid white or British racing green can be painted.

Parking one of the most versatile models from BMW in your garage is not cheap in Spain. The local arm of the luxury brand asks a high € 196,150. And that’s before options. The striking individual color gives the final invoice € 6,260, while the optional carbon ceramico brakes on a ophthalmological € 12,648 are concerned. These two extras push the M3 CS lower in € 200,000 territory.

BMW has not announced how many units come to Spain. In fact, there have been no production figures at all, which only realizes that the M3-CS touring is a “limited model”. The deliveries began in March and the car is expected to be built for only one year. Reports indicate that global production probably exceeds 2,000 units.

The British division recently pushed the high-performance g81 into the most suitable color: British Racing Green. At the beginning of this month, the CS appeared at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in Matte White. A few months ago we gave a black sapphire -black example at the BMW M experience in Abu Dhabi. In any case, BMW assembled the matt gold bronze wheels, except in Spain, where BMW opted for the more frequent matt black setup. At least the M3 CS Touring offers a choice. We cannot say the same for the M2 CS, which comes exclusively with the more striking bronze finish.

So what’s next for the CS list? An M5 -CS sedan and a touring combination seems to be a safe bet, but not before the G90/G99 Facelift expected in 20027.
